Buffers

To state it in simple terms, a buffer is a preamp pedal that is designed to maintain the strength and tone of your guitar signal.  When used correctly, a good buffer pedal will improve the high frequency response of your overall pedal chain. 

If you are using a lot of pedals, you are going to be needing a good buffer, and any of these will be a valuable addition to your guitar pedal board and critical to your tone.
